Job description
How does enhancing standout environments and characters while setting the mood for a unique, stylized video game sound to you? As one of our two Lighting Artists, the team is eager to follow your recommendations and learn from your experience!
Why Choose Reflector:
Make your mark on an iconic IP. Millions of fans will be counting down to the next installment of a cherished Bandai Namco franchise. Your job is to make sure to shine your light on our production.
Diversify your portfolio. Make the leap from hyperrealism to a more stylized game and challenge yourself in lighting unique environments and characters. Consider this your chance to bring as much depth to the project as you can to your portfolio.
Enjoy more than just meetings. We’re all for hybrid setups, but endless Teams calls aren’t our thing. We like to kick off milestones, collaborate, fast-track ideas, share progress (snacks, too!), and celebrate achievements live and in-person.
Feel supported on all fronts. Not only can you count on your team to help you solve the most creative of challenges, but we’ve also got you covered with generous health and dental coverage and ample time off starting from day one.
How You’ll Spend Your Days:
Create awesome lighting setups that enhance the gameplay.
Examine the in-game lighting and tweak it as needed.
Fix any lighting bugs, making sure everything looks perfect.
What You Offer:
A solid comprehension of the French language.
You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
A minimum of six years of experience in a similar role, where you were able to develop your skills and expertise.
You have shipped at least one game as a Lighting Artist, preferably a ‘AAA’ console title.
A strong understanding of art and design fundamentals including composition and colour theory.
