Your impact at Reflector
The Assistant Art Director will assist the Art Director provide leadership, guidance, director, feedback, and support to the full art team on the project. They will work closely with Producers, Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure that the art direction is being adhered to and applied correctly through the artistic individual contributors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the environment art team gets enough reviews and feedback to achieve the high-quality stylised look.
Work with our FX and Lighting artists as they build their visual benchmarks and lookdev for those critical areas of the art direction.
Support the art director in preparing any meetings, direction, or presentations for the Art Direction, and standing in when necessary.
Help the unblocking of low-level asset creation by giving a clear reference and vision for architecture, props, and interactibles.
Provide reviews and feedback for the character and environment art team, taking into consideration feedback from our internal teams.
Drive both internal and external art teams towards quality, balancing the deadlines and budgets.
Supports and demonstrates the studio values daily, holding all the artists accountable to those values.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) to six (6) years of experience as assistant or director art in the gaming industry.
Strong artistic skills demonstrated through a stylised portfolio.
Strong communication skills in French, both oral and written.
Good knowledge and practice of traditional Art (asset).
